My Christmas Present: Its a New Bike!

Merry Christmas all! I hope you had a great Christmas and haven’t over done the food and drink. I didn’t go over board but eat and drunk more then normal and it will be important to get back into my diet and exercise program that I did last year. A lot of the exercise came in the form of riding an exercise bike. That, as well as the kids getting older, was a little of the motivation for the present I asked Santa for.

We were at Lid’s mum and dad’s place for Christmas Eve and Christmas day, but there was a bike helmet under the tree with a note that there was something in our garage for me (and something in the lounge room for Lid, but thats for another Photo). It was a new bike and I hope to ride a bit more outside and will work on getting used to riding outside with Hills and Wind and actually not being able to just get off the bike and walking downstairs. It sounds silly, but it is something to definitely get used too.

Currently the bike is just plain at the moment (apart from the attachment to tow our baby carriage/trailer on the back). Someone suggested on the photo on Lid’s Facebook photo stream that I needed a pink basket. When I thought that Santa might bring a bike, I thought about getting a trip computer and will probably do that at the next service.
