Tennis anyone?

I started two weeks holiday this week and on Tuesday, I took the day to do something I have wanted to do for quite sometime. I bought a Ground Pass to go see a day of the Australian Open Tennis. I was a bit worried about how much good Tennis I would see as I thought that you couldn’t keep a seat when you need to go out of the courts but was glad to find that on the third biggest court, Margret Court Areana, you can actually hold your spot for 3 changes of end (about 6 games).

Mission for the day was to go and see and cheer on a bunch of Aussie players and was lucky to find that on this day, there was Aussies all day. First up was Jarmila Gajdosova (pictured, what is that Camera man up too) taking on Virginie Razzano of France. The Gador (as the fans were calling her) came back after losing the first set to win the second and have chances in the thid but eventually went down 6-4 in the third.

Will put more details of my day to be added later (when I have more time and less kids climbing all over me).

You can see more photos of my day at the Tennis (and I took a heap) you can go over to my Australian Open Flickr Set by clicking here.
