Patty over Warrnambool
Well, I am writing this from the Monash Hospital in Clayton (Victoria, Australia). I am in since yesterday with an infected Sebaceous cyst on the side of my face. I am in till tomorrow at least (Monday 23 March 2009) to have a CT scan of the Cyst and after that, they may choose to Lance/Drain or even remove it. Or possibly send me home.

Another photo from our summer holiday to Warrnambool. Patrick is on the inflatable mat in the back ground. A great photo by Lid. If you look, in the back ground you can see the break water.
First month of the year down and I wanted to try something this year by doing a video of each months worth of Photos and videos. This video is done to the music of Brother Love (http://brotherloverocks.com). Enjoy
We took time to go to Warrnambool to visit my parents (aka Nanny and Poppy) and while there, we took a lot of nice photos. Here is one of the boys in front of a lighthouse at Flagstaff Hill Warrnambool.
When we moved into our new house three years ago, one of our friends gave Patty an olive tree to plant because Patrick is well know among our friends for his love of olives. The tree grew well and is now very tall. We did wonder if it would ever flower up until about a month ago.
Then the flowers bloomed and started to go away and I did a bit of research as I was sure that just because it flowered, could it be that the plant was a male plant. Again, more research suggested that olive trees in general have male and female parts to the flowers in the one plant.
In honor of the US celebrating Thanksgiviing I thought I would share a photo with something a bit more American then you (or at least I have) find in Australia. While I was over there I found that they tend to eat their Pumpkin a bit on the Sweet side.
Here is an example of that. Its Banana Bread with Pumpkin Ice Cream. I actually went to the same place two nights in a row, Flatbreads Pizza, and the food was great. I had the Banana Bread two nights in a row and on the second night plucked up the courage to have the Pumpkin Ice Cream. I came to like the sweeter side of Pumpkin and am even considering making Pumpkin Pie at some time.

Recently I went to the US for work and while waiting for my flight out of Boston’s Logan Airport, I took the opertunity to endulge in one of Boston‘s best known reasturant chains, Legal Sea Foods. I of course had the famous Legal’s Clam Chowder (photo to come later) but also had a beautiful Pumpkin Ravioli with Lobster Tails. Here is a photo I took of it.
I put together this photo after our trip to Warrnambool earlier this year. Its a sticking together of a number of photos that I put together using Windows Live Photo Gallery. Its a photo of the old stores at the Flagstaff Hill in Warrnambool. If your in the area you really should check it out, especially the night show!
